About Mily
I first became interested in dog training when I was around 15 years old. I was gifted a Chihuahua puppy that ended up needing some serious behavioral help! In researching ways to help improve our quality of life together, I found advice and books from some of the best people in dog training such as Patricia McConnell and Ian Dunbar. With their help, Dinky the Chihuahua and I found harmony.
In 2015 I got my dog training certification through Anthony Jerone's School Of dog training in Whitestone, NY. I've been training ever since using evidence based, humane training techniques
I worked as the head dog trainer at a PetCo for a time shortly after my certification. I worked with a variety of different breeds and temperaments during my time there but ultimately decided to branch out on my own and I've been taking private clients since 2016.
I also work closely with a dog rescue group, Rescue Rovers. They are run by a stellar group of volunteers that provide the foster home and love rescue dogs need to bridge the transition from cold, lonely shelter, to their forever home. My role is to provide training and behavioral therapy wherever necessary. I also take in foster dogs when I have opportunity.

My Foster Girls
These girls have a strong work ethic. They're learning all kinds of useful things from coming when I call them, to simple things like sitting, laying down, leaving things alone when I ask, etc. But it can't all be work and no play! We're covering fun stuff too, like "shake," "sit pretty," and "roll over."
